Peek a Boo and TP Towers

Lauren loves to hide so her new favorite

place is under a table, she will get her whole body

under there and hang out until

someone finds her. She also loves to stack

and today she emptied the TP from the

bag and made towers out of it, it's the

simple things in life that are the most fun

for her. and yes I know she's not wearing

pants but she is happiest in a t shirt &

diaper. :) Do you see me ?

A Visit with Miss Mikayla and Family

We had the honor of having breakfast

today with Mikayla and her

family as they were passing

through town on vacation, We

all had a great visit and we are

hoping to see them again in

December. We are so thankful for

our Hubei family and what they

all mean to us.

She's Growing Up

I know they can't stay babies

forever but the older she gets

the more I wish she was still

this little, sweet baby. We went to

Target on Wednesday and decided

to stop for a snack at the cafe there

when she looked at me and said

" I went pee pee", I almost fell out of

my chair. she is ready to potty

train now so let the fun begin.

She has been in speech therapy

since November and Wednesday was

also her last session there so she is

changing in lots of ways but

no matter what she will always

A Surprise Visit

We had a surprise visit this weekend
from my cousins Heather and Kim and my aunt Donna from Florida. Heather was in Georgia
to tour Berry College and we
met up with them at Six Flags on Sunday.
We all had a great time together
and it was so nice seeing them
and spending the day with them.

Meeting Gill

Most of you may remember

last summer we got Lauren a betta

fish named Bruce. Well, Bruce went to

the big fish pond in the sky so

today Lauren and I went to petsmart

and got a new friend who we named Gill

after the scarred fish in Finding

Nemo, Gill has a scar on the back of his tail. :)

Walking Mollie

At least once or twice a week we all

take an evening walk around the

neighborhood, Lauren loves to walk our

dog Mollie, she thinks she is big stuff

when she has that leash in her hand.

This is the outfit Lauren chose to go outside
in today, a NC t shirt, grey pants,
a green & white flower hat
and pink & silver heels.

Bye Ya'll......

Well, obviously Lauren thinks she

is a native Georgia Peach because

she now tells people bye ya'll

when people are leaving our house.

It's hilarious to hear this little

Chinese girl using southern

drawl, but in her defense her

favorite foods are fried okra and

sweet tea to drink. Oh, well

there are worse ways we could have

influenced her I guess. :)

3 Songs

Every Day at least 3 or 4 times

a day we have to sing 3 songs

with Lauren. ABC's, Eensy

Weensy Spider and Twinkle,

Twinkle Little Star. She will

ask anywhere at anytime

to sing those 3 songs. We went out for lunch as a family today

and Steve & I had to sing those same 3 songs
