While we were in Gatlinburg, we took Lauren to a place called "Hillbilly Golf" to play putt putt, you ride to the top of the hill and then play down the hill. She loved it, she would hit the ball with her orange golf stick ( her words) and then pick the ball up, put it next to the hole and then push it the rest of the way in and proclaim " Ball in Hole" she still talks about it, even today she told me her golf ball was red, mommy's was green and daddy's was purple. She had the best time playing putt putt golf. Maybe we have a little tiger on our hands ?
The Dudley's ( minus steve's brother & his family ) The Bailey's Steve, Stacie, Lauren Waterfall in the Smoky Mountains This black bear walked in front of our van while we were driving in cades cove, so cool. sorry the picture isn't great but I was so shocked I had a hard time taking the picture :)
Steve, Lauren and I spent a week in beautiful Townsend, TN for a bi annual family reunion. Lauren loved playing with her cousins and we all had a great time seeing family again. We had 26 people come together from all over and stay at the same cabin for the gathering. The Gang at Cades Cove Lauren and her cousins in a barn Each family unit had matching shirts on, red for Flemings, green for Bailey's, Blue for the Dudley's.
A little girl needs Daddy for many, many things:Like holding her high off the ground where the sunlight sings! Like being the deep music that tells her all is right When she awakens frantic with the terrors of the night.
Like being the great mountain that rises in her heart And shows her how she might get home when all else falls apart.Like giving her the love that is her sea and air,So diving deep or soaring high she'll always find him there.
Unlike her Chinese cousin Annslee, Lauren does not like farm animals. We took her last weekend to Tanglewood Farms which is a farm of miniature animals and she was only impressed with the pony ride at the end.
