CNY at the Chinese Community Center

This was a very cool event
and it was packed full
of people, it's at Chinatown
in the Dunwoody area.
We were buying paper
cuttings to frame for Lauren's
room and the lady asked me
where Lauren was from
I told her Hubei and she
said "ooh hard headed and
also Americanized, you have
lots of work ahead". HA
The Lion dance
The Dragon dance
Lauren not impressed with meeting the Dragon
A Chinese garden
Her loot, the rat lights up, she picked out all of it.
The lady was selling the paper cuttings for $1.00 each,
look at the detail on it. this is the colored one we also got b/w
cranes to represent Hubei ( yellow cranes)

Let's plan on going to this together next year...all of our two families. Sorry we missed it. Does this lady know Lauren? Ha Ha Sounds like she has her nailed. LOL!
Blessings,
Teresa

She looks so beautiful on the bridge, but then I always think she is beautiful:).
The dragon is scary, no wonder she wasn't impressed:).

We live in Marietta - how do I not know about all of these CNY things going on? I must have my head in the sand. Did she mention stubborn and moody and strong willed.....? Our Hubei hunnies have quite a reputation!
