The Mouth Of The South

Lauren has gotten really smart mouthed and super sassy lately. the past 2 days have been the worst. yesterday she was being really mouthy so I told her to watch her mouth to which she replied " I can't because my eyes are attached to me" then this morning I told her we need to go to Kroger and would she like to have lunch out at McDonalds while we are out, she ignored me so I asked her a litle while later the same question to which she sassily replied " whyyy do you keep asking me that". She's only 4 so I can hardly wait until the hormones kick in and it gets worse. The library emailed me this morning and said my copy of " Have a new kid by Friday" is ready to pick up so guess where we'll be going today :)

This was taken before she could talk, look how sweet she was :)

What a little chubby-cheeked cutie!

Sorry about the sassiness. It makes me giggle, but that's probably because Linlee isn't quite there yet (I'm sure she will be one day). I bet you aren't giggling when it happens!

Aww, look at that little face:).
Oh yes the sassy mouth, the good news is that most teens do not wear dentures, ie: you didn't:).
You told me that your eyes didn't stretch far enough to watch your mouth so I really can't do anything but say, hang on dear you are in for a roller coaster ride, the good news is it does get better, then worse then better again:).

I love the picture at the top of your blog...Yes, the mouth thing. Lily told me two things yesterday: one) that she is talking to herself and to please not interrupt her; and 2) she doesn't like to listen to the sound of my voice. "Stop it. I don't like to listen to the sound of your voice." Of course that comment was preceded by me telling her to go to bed. That picture of Lauren (before she can talk) is just unbelievable. I'm starting to forget how tiny they were once!!

Oh, I can SO relate to the sassiness, smart mouth and attitude! Emily is such an angry little person sometimes. Wish we lived closer...we could definitely commiserate!

Well, Annslee said "I hate you" the other day...she said it in the right context (I wouldn't paint her nails at that very moment) When I asked her if she knew what it meant she said no...I told her it meant she didn't love her mommy...she broke down in tears "I doooo love my mommy!!!" Then I threw in there that it didn't make me happy or Jesus happy when she said ugly things....

Anyway, she obviously had no idea what it meant (thank goodness) but I still thought I had about 10 more years until she said that!!!

We are all in trouble... LOVE that pic of itty bitty girl : )
